IRCC II - Heeelllllllooooooooo out there!

Have you noticed that we are just not as chatty this year?

I wonder if it is the heat. Or we have been struck with a collective case of competitiveness that is keeping us from interacting. Or if we are all just too busy, or antisocial, or something...

Perhaps it's just my imagination.

Anyway, although I still have yet to finish a single item on my list--and thus have moments where I seethe with jealousy toward you more prolific types--I'd just like to say that I am following along with interest as we all work on our projects and ...

YOU ROCK!

Nice work. Now to get back to my own. :)

  1. I know I am not as gung ho about the IRCC as I was last year. To much going on in my life to be able to devote as much time and energy as I did last year. I am loving the updates and hope I can get more done soon :)

  2. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get involved as much this year due to at least one or two road trips per month (family/volunteering/events, et.c) But even though I am not creating stuff as fast as I would like, I too enjoy reading updates from everyone, It helps to keep me in the sewing mood and makes this even more of a fun learning experience. And the knowledge that we are not taking on something of this magnitude by ourselves is very motivational. Keep up the good work!

  3. I've got a lot more going on this year with other sewing too. For my kids primarily. Not nearly as fun as for myself :) Looking at what I got done in the first month this time versus last year is just pitiful. I am doing better work though so I guess that is something. I know part of my problem this year is that I'm not as excited about my dress. I'm really afraid of how I'll look in this particular style and so I'm constantly second guessing. I'm thinking about changing my dress and doing something I feel looks more flattering. It's not as much of a challenge though and that's what is holding me back.

  4. Aawwww, thanks!

    You three triple rock!

I think a problem of *my* blogging is that I have been focusing on sharing tangible progress rather than the interesting parts of the process. I'm one who finds the how and why *at least* as interesting as the final product so I have resolved to be more forthcoming about process in my posting. I hope it doesn't bore you all to tears!

And BTW, my Clarence is currently preparing his PhD confirmation document and we spend...more time than I knew existed in a day working on it. Every day. So I truly agree and feel for us all on the "busy with other things" front!
